This warning has been given so many times, I do not know why the Lord gives it again, except that it is coming, and will be devastating, and He just wants to save as many as He can save!
Some people do not like sharing tithing; some people do not like offering a little bit of help to others. Some people are so in love with their money and their comforts that they come up with all sorts of excuses of why they should not help take care of the poor, needy, and destitute among them.
Helaman II, pg. 416 It was because of the pride of their hearts, of their exceeding great riches!
If we have not charity, it availeth us nothing.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
If we do not take care of the poor among us, then we will have the curse upon us. Their consequences will come upon us! Thus saith the Lord: Take care of the poor, or their curse will come upon you. The consequences of the poor will come upon those who have denied them.
I know there are a few people that do not like the idea of sharing tithes and offerings, but if we do not take care of the poor among us, we will stand condemned before God. Meaning, we will not be able to become, but will remain condemned. "Before God," means from becoming, from rejoining with that holy part of ourselves, because we are therefore not holy!
Share a tithe, make your offerings, help those among you. Do not let them suffer, or their suffering will come upon you.

I probably wrote this out too quickly, but I will go back and fix the formatting and references.
I was praying about one of the poor and destitute among us, and the Lord's voice came and instructed that we are to take care of the poor among ourselves. If we do not, then the cursings we see on the poor will come upon us. This is not the normal happy uplifting revelations, because we are failing in this duty, in this commandment. I added a DONATE button on the main menu here, which goes into a legal, verified church account, subject to audit. I will have to learn how to make a button to put up on websites, etc. If anyone knows how to do this, please help! We could sure use your programming skills!

In the northern hemisphere right now winter is here. It is a time of cold and sometimes dangerous weather. Some poor cannot get work, because they do not have proper winter clothing. Some poor have to subject themselves to living in dangerous shelters. It is humiliating to show up looking for work, and you are shivering so bad, you cannot even speak your own name clearly. Who will hire you? The company does not want that risk!
There are all kinds of reasons that people can lose their way and enter poverty; and let us face it, most of this situation is from some sort of foolishness. Nevertheless, how many of us are claiming to be as smart as God? Are we not all ignorant and foolish compared to the Great Creator? If the Great Creator feeds us, even through all our foolishness compared to Him, then we should feed our fellowman, even if they are foolish in our eyes! If we do not do the same as our Heavenly Parents, then we do not worship them, and make no mistake, if we are not like them, we will not be with them, let alone ever becoming!
One of my favourite stories is one of Martin of Tours. The story goes something like this: How can we claim to follow the Saviour, when we are nothing like Him? Will the scripture apply to us: Verily, Verily, I say unto you: You never knew me!

1 “Cry aloud; do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet; declare to my people their transgression, to the house of Jacob their sins.
2 Yet they seek me daily and delight to know my ways, as if they were a nation that did righteousness and did not forsake the judgment of their God; they ask of me righteous judgments; they delight to draw near to God.
3 'Why have we fasted, and you see it not? Why have we humbled ourselves, and you take no knowledge of it?’
Behold, in the day of your fast you seek your own pleasure, and oppress all your workers.
4 Behold, you fast only to quarrel and to fight and to hit with a wicked fist.
Fasting like yours this day will not make your voice to be heard on high.
5 Is such the fast that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself?
Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him?
Will you call this a fast, and a day acceptable to the Lord?
6 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and he will say, ‘Here I am.’
If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.
11 And the Lord will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.
12 And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.
13 “If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;
14 then you shall take delight in the Lord, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Isaiah 58:1-14, ESV So, all the things we do to please the Lord are only secondary and worthless alone, but must be combined with this primary doctrine: To loose the bonds of wickedness; to undo the straps of the yoke; to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke; to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh; to stop bullying and pointing and saying bad things; to pour out ourselves for the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted.

As we read the following quote, notice how the Lord speaks of the differences between sheep and goats. Notice how the Lord only addresses the important doctrines, and does not address the other doctrines that separate people.The whole reason we have a church/religion/ministry/charity/humanitarian organization/club/lodge/etc. is so that we can far more effectively do this primary doctrine, to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, free the captives, heal the sick, etc.
The people who take care of the poor are the sheep on the right hand of the Lord, and go into heaven. The people who do not take care of the poor are goats, and do not get to go into heaven!

The first great commandment is to love God with all your heart, might, mind, and strength. The way to accomplish loving God is by keeping the second commandment, to love your neighbour as you love yourself, (for, if you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me).
All rules, regulations, revelations, doctrines, organizational policies are in place to accomplish this great commandment, to take care of each other as we take care of ourselves.
This is the law of heaven, this is what goes on in heaven: To take care of others like we take care of ourselves. Those who do not do this, are not a part of heaven where people constantly and consistently take care of each other.

Deuteronomy 14:29
And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
Deuteronomy 15:7-11
- If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
15:8 - But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
15:9 - Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
15:10 - Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
15:11 - For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
You never need to worry about giving, for God has everything and gives freely to those who give freely

1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
- 1 Corinthians 13:1-7
"and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." This really sums it up nicely.

Proverbs 3:27-28 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
